Information Technology is the most likely candidate I think.

I think my information is doing technologically well, but I will keep your kind offer in mind if I ever find that it isn't. Thank you.

Line to what? I'm not an electrical engineer and I don't know the impedance rating of what this line you're speaking of is connected too et cetera

If it's a PC power supply that you're talking about... 50 should be vine on a 12 volt rail, anything below 40 could indicate a short.

I think I'm undulating... should I reset my BIOS? Or would some sasparilla do the trick?
Actually, I do have an IT problem... I have Win Vista Home edition and I notice that my clock has become hopelessly out of synch... when I shut down and turn back on it sets itself to some random time... even after I set it and tell it to synch with internet time... strange... I haven't had a lot of time to look into it, but it's clawing at my poop tube, if you know what I mean.

Line to run things in the computer from the power supply, such as the fans.
Ok that's cool, n/m, I think I see what an IT guy is now. I do have some of those type questions but I can't think of what they are off hand, I'll post here if they come to me, thanks man.

Vista has a problem with *Gasp* surprisingly windows own time server... so right click your start menu emblem, click "Adjust Date and Time" > Click on the "Change Settings" button > Navigate to Adjust Internet Time > Make sure the "Synchronize with Internet Time Server" is checked > Enter time-a.nist.gov as your time server. Restart, lemme know if that doesn't work and we can adjust the interval in which it updates which can sometimes throw it off

It seems most of you are techie types of one kind or another, that's; 3 computer engineers, 7+ web designers, a car salesperson/aviarist, a couple of software engineers, an archaeologist? (sorry Brian I've forgotten exactly), a retired electrical engineer and Muddy.
What does Muddy do Oh yeah, those water filter devices, horses and guitars! I think he is secretly the most interesting one out of us all.
Oh and to my surprise and delight a couples councillor!!! We should ask Darlene stuff!
And there used to be a lady that enjoyed strapping herself up in gaffer tape. What happened to her?
What a varied bunch we are!

A retired electronics technician, not electrical engineer.
